Located in Puerto Ayora, 700 metres from Los Alemanes Beach and 1.3 km from La Estacion Beach, Posada del Mar provides garden views and free WiFi. It is situated 2.9 km from De Los Perros Beach and features luggage storage space. The guest house features family rooms. We stayed at different places during our Galapagos trip and Posada del Mar was the best of them. The host Carlos was very hospitable and friendly. He recommended an agency to book a ferry to another island and showed us where to buy SIM cards. Also, we got a room upgrade for free because better options were vacant – very kind of him. The location is perfect. Heart of the city, 2 min walk to the pier, but located on a quiet street. Lots of corner shops and cafes nearby. Rooms: clean and bright, look the same as you see in photos. Aircons work well. Depending on the room, windows will face either the pier and the ocean or a calm neighborhood. Some pleasant trifles: drinking water in rooms and at the reception, an elevator for your luggage, tea and coffee for free, a common area with a balcony and a kitchen on the top floor.
