There were also nice personal touches which came as a nice surprise (for example handwritten welcome letter written in the language of my national card as well as a note on my birthday although I didn't specifically mention to the team I was celebrating my birthday). The hotel is also in a great location and the room and amenities were high end but without creating a stuffy atmosphere. I would definitely come back to this hotel next time I go to Bilbao.

Walking distance from museums and shops and 10 minutes drive from the airport. Breakfast was exceptional as well. So many good options to choose from. Overall our stay was wonderful.

Recently restored boutique hotel from 1929, located on the beachfront in Bakio. Exquisite architecture with attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere. Our hotel has two pleasant terraces, one with sea views and the other sheltered by our ancient trees, where guests can rest and relax peacefully. Beautiful interior and the room was spacious, clean and modern. Excellent bathroom. Breakfasts are especially good and strongly recommended, you will not get better anywhere else in town.
