All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). Rooms with views of the river or castle are available upon request. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is stunning, and the renovation has been done with incredible taste and attention to detail. What truly made the experience exceptional was the warmth and care of the staff — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special touch that stood out: they had dog treats and a bowl of water waiting for us upon arrival. That was a first, and it meant a lot. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Hotel De France is located in the centre of Nantes, a 2-minute walk from the Theatre Graslin, the Passage Pommeraye and Place Royale. The interior is designed in a contemporary style to complement the architecture of the 18th-century lobby. The room was so great, clean and big. A bed was comfortable, staff is nice and kind. Cocktails in a bar was delicious. Location is great.

Everything felt top class, wonderful welcome from the all the reception and bar staff. Brilliant amenities, games room, outdoor sports, washing facilities and bikes to rent. Short walk from main town and restaurants. Breakfast was wonderful. Big shout out to the scrambled egg chef. Free bike excursion and great information by our guide ( feel bad as I cant remember your name, but you know who you are, so thank you) We spent three days here and loved everything, thanks again to a wonderful team We are a couple and we felt very chilled out. We had breakfast in our room, it was lovely.
