Situated in Châtellerault, in a historic building, 42 km from Château du Rivau, Le Clos Gabrielle is a recently renovated guest house with pool with a view and garden. A wonderfully, welcoming, fun and quirky place. Cyril was an excellent host. My room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and faultless. Breakfast was simple but of high quality. Location is on the outskirts of the town but I took a +-2km walk along the road and then along the river, across the bridge and to a fine restaurant recommended by Cyril. I highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area or when passing by Chatellerault.

Tatiana was a brilliant host, I mixed the booking up and she was so helpful helping to switch the dates, she also ad used us of parking close to the apartment which was much appreciated and very cheap!!
