The extremely spacious rooms are warmly decorated, with super king-size Hypnos beds and large, floor-to-ceiling windows. Each room has an LCD TV with Freeview and Sports channels. Excellent service and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and well-stocked with complimentary items, and the beds and pillows were especially cozy. Breakfast was delicious, with the added bonus of being able to choose from a made-to-order menu at no extra cost. Overall, the location is very convenient, and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was amazing, from the music to the food, from the cleaniness to the interior's details. The entire staff was friendly, always smiling and ready to help.

Everything was great. Very comfortable beds, elegant furniture, a fantastic selection of coffee, teas, cookies, etc, great choices for breakfast, and the owners were very helpful, providing a shed to store our bicycles in overnight. It felt like this is how all guest houses should be (but often aren't)!

This is our second visit to The Bridge House, so we obviously like it a lot. The accommodations are beautiful, the food excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is nestled at the base of the woods, so the views and walks are amazing!! Grab a drink, sit outside near the babbling brook and picturesque bridge, as you see Alton Castle above.

This recently renovated apartment is located 24 km from Victoria Baths and 24 km from Manchester Apollo. University of Manchester is 25 km from the apartment and Manchester Museum is 25 km away. As soon as we opened the door to our apartment we entered a cosy, inviting place which exceeded our expectations, it smelt so clean and fresh and is beautifully decorated with all the home comforts you’d expect. Had a problem with the key code on arrival but somebody came round within 5 minutes to sort it out. Great location for local attractions such as Buxton and Chatsworth House, Whaley Bridge is a busy village with all the conveniences you need. The apartments are right next to the train station but didn’t bother us, it added to the charm of the place (you can get the train to Buxton or Manchester)

Spotlessly clean, incredibly designed and so so comfortable. This was a gem of a find in the Peaks District and right down the street from adorable Bakewell. The breakfast was delicious (the black pudding!) and our stay couldn't have been better. Will stay here again the next chance we get.
