Port Aran House is beautifully and tastefully decorated, and you really feel good staying there. The kitchen is clean, and you can cook something if you like. Breakfast was outstanding: excellent homemade bread, scones, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, butter, jams, yogurts, eggs ... We truly felt at home, and the host was exceptionally friendly, giving us plenty of great tips on where to go in the evening and which cycling routes to take. The best advice he gave us was when we asked whether we should wait in our rooms for better weather. He said: "Those who wait never see the sun." And he was right: it rained for 20 minutes, and then the sun came out, and we swam on a stunning tropical beach. I warmly recommend staying here.

The cottage was fabulous, had everything we needed, it was only ten mins walk from the harbour and the perfect location with lovely views. More than anything, Alison was an incredible host and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Will definitely be rebooking this place when we come back!

I traveled alone to Inishmor and stayed a week with Geraldine and Thomas — and I cannot think of better and kinder hosts. This was an Elopement Getaway and our first trip to both The Aran Islands and to Ireland, so we wanted to make the most of our time by staying in "The Best" 5 star resorts, castles, Airbnbs and Aran Walkers Lodge! Without hesitation, I can say Aran Walkers Lodge was our favorite stay and "picture perfect" from the moment we checked in until we checked out! Much like the magnificent landscapes, warm welcoming people, delicious food, the historical pubs castles and monuments on Inis Mor, our stay at Aran Walker's Lodge was exactly what comes to mind when I think of Ireland! The view from the lodge is stunning and the location of the property is a beautiful bike ride away from everything we wanted to see (Wormhole, Dún Aonghasa, The Seal Colony, the Sweater Market and much more)....They even provide the bikes for a small fee (much easier and economical than renting from the pier). Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and quaintly decorated, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the owner Sean was welcoming and helpful- he advised us on walks, transport and places to eat. THE perfect host! And, Julia...what an absolute gem this beautiful and brilliant girl is! The care, kindness and extra effort she put into any request we had made it feel like we were staying with family...To think she is a volunteer is unbelievable to me. We cannot Thank you enough for turning our dream Ireland Elopement into reality!

Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Bhí Tigh Fitz tharr CIONN mar áit, an bean i bhfeighil Penny, san áireamh. We had an amazing time. Loved waking up for breakfast every morning and being served by the lovely girls sa chistin. The room was beautiful, great view and tea and coffee left beside the kettle every day. Heaven.

Clodagh was super friendly and offered so many great suggestions to us. Breakfast area was lovely and the food itself was just what we needed to start the day. She even provided non-dairy butter for me with breakfast.

We were two couples the downstairs room was tiny so the bed was a full but I slept great. The whole house is lovely and clean. The view is stunning. I was concerned because we had a later ferry and didn’t have time to run to the market and we were pleasantly surprised to have fresh bread milk and eggs to make breakfast with. I will try to stay here on my next visit. We all loved having space to hang out and enjoy our trip.
