The staff were amazing, in particular Denis the host could not have been more professional. The breakfast was fantastic, the location perfect for walking into town. Denis with his approach would be at home in a five star hotel, but he manages to relate to you in a relaxed, calm and super helpful manner that is perfect for the guesthouse environment. Located in the heart of the beautiful Westport Quay, Ireland, The Helm is adjacent to Westport House and overlooks the idyllic Westport Harbour. It offers a restaurant and bar with live... We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍

Kilbree House B&B is an award-winning property offering spacious bedrooms and home-cooked breakfasts. Set within gardens, Kilbree House is just 3 km from Galway city centre. The breakfast was amazing! Typical Irish breakfast, freshly made with lots of options. The room was clean and spacious and had useful amenities. Location is good for visiting Galway and the staff was very friendly and had useful recommendations.
