Galway is a great city to have a basis and explore the west coast and I strongly recommend the Radisson Red Hotel for that.

Westport Heights offers family-friendly accommodation in Westport on the Wild Atlantic Way, offering views of the town and Croagh Patrick. I really liked the apartment. This is a nice house with a separate entrance. I really like the idea of having skylights, they make the kitchen very bright. by the way the kitchen has everything for cooking. Martha kindly provided us with extra coffee capsules. Thank you, Martha. Large refrigerator and washer/dryer. This was very convenient when we returned after rain. There is no photo of the bathroom. It is small but well equipped. The shower works well. The bed is large and comfortable. And the best part is the view of the mountains! Absolutely amazing and stunning view! Highly, highly recommended

Located next to Galway Railway and Bus Station, Galway City Hostel overlooks Eyre Square. The staff is super friendly and helpful, there's always a smile for guests 😀 The rooms and bathrooms are clean and everyone seemed very respectful both in dormitories and common areas. The common space is amazing, there's a kitchen with everything you might need and a big table that's perfect to enjoy your meals while having a coat with other travelers. Cushions by the windows to sit back and relax are just great and there are books and games to play! Always water and tea available. I had my best time in Galway, will definitely come back!!

A 5-minute drive from Galway city centre, Ardawn House offers high-quality en suite rooms and an extensive breakfast menu. We loved the hospitality of the house manager Van Denis. He was kind enough to let us check in earlier than agreed and even spoke some words in our Lithuanian language, which was shocking. Everything was clean, very cozy Irish homestay, which will definitely make your trip more unique. The star of the show was without any questions - breakfast. Not only can you fill up your stomach completely, but the food can be adjusted to your liking. Delicious, fastly served, beautiful setting and good quantities. Of course, free parking and location at the city centre were super convenient and saved a lot of time and stress.

The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly appreciated it. The host was friendly, warm, and possessed an excellent sense of humor. The breakfast was generous and accompanied by a variety of options made available to us. The premises were clean, full of charm, and offered a beautiful view of the water. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

Kilbree House B&B is an award-winning property offering spacious bedrooms and home-cooked breakfasts. Set within gardens, Kilbree House is just 3 km from Galway city centre. We had the pleasure of staying at Kilbree House B&B, and it was absolutely wonderful! Mike, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The room was cozy and had all the little details that make a stay feel special. The bed was super comfy, and we appreciated how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were. The highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast. Wow. Mike served up an amazing full traditional Irish breakfast with homemade bread. It was the perfect way to start the day.

Located in its own private grounds, this 4-star hotel offers spacious, elegant rooms. It is only 20 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre and 5 minutes' walk from the nearest shopping centre. All staff we interacted with were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotels location was great for travelling into Galway town with a bus stop outside the building.
