Denis with his approach would be at home in a five star hotel, but he manages to relate to you in a relaxed, calm and super helpful manner that is perfect for the guesthouse environment. Located in the heart of the beautiful Westport Quay, Ireland, The Helm is adjacent to Westport House and overlooks the idyllic Westport Harbour. It offers a restaurant and bar with live... We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍

We had the pleasure of staying at Kilbree House B&B, and it was absolutely wonderful! Mike, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The room was cozy and had all the little details that make a stay feel special. The bed was super comfy, and we appreciated how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were. The highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast. Wow. Mike served up an amazing full traditional Irish breakfast with homemade bread. It was the perfect way to start the day.

Located in its own private grounds, this 4-star hotel offers spacious, elegant rooms. It is only 20 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre and 5 minutes' walk from the nearest shopping centre. I love everything about the Menlo.. especially their gravy!
