The surroundings are calm and beautiful to enjoy nature. The house is very well equipped, everything has been thought through for a comfortable stay. Modern and with great views of the lake. Comfy beds. Good communication through messages and recommendations to visit the area. We saw stunning auroras from here!

Fully equipped, comfortable and quiet apartment. Very calming view of the harbor. Wifi is also excellent for work. Parking is available at the back of the house at the end of the street right by the sea (you need to go around a block of houses, it's in the photo, but at night and in a blizzard it may not be immediately obvious).

The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need — it even has a slow cooker and a rice cooker, which is very convenient. We also really appreciate the attention to small details — the curtain in the shower booth to keep dry area dry, the mirror outside the bathroom (so you can do your makeup while someone else is taking a shower), plenty of power outlets including an extra extension cord in the bedroom. Even though the room is on the second floor (this is informed clearly when booking), so carrying luggage upstairs can be a bit tiring, but the staircase is wide and not steep so it is not that hard. The code for the key box and check-in instructions were sent before arrival, and it was very easy to access the apartment. The view of Kirkjufell from every windows is superb!

Guesthouse 43 Free parking ligger i Grundarfjörður og har en hage. Fra rommet ditt har du utsikt over fjellet. I spent only one night at this guesthouse, but I had a really great time. The position is excellent in the middle of the town with a wide space where to park the car. The room was clean, cozy and had plenty of space; the same for the living room where you can just sit on the sofa or the armchair and enjoy the view. There are three bathrooms, two of them with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. Additionally, it was very easy to communicate with the host, who promptly gave instructions about the check-in. I highly recommend this place if you're travelling around Snæfellsnes.

Monica, the wonderful host, has truly thought of everything. Her experience in hospitality really shines through- from the spotless cleanliness and order to the little notes and labels that make everything feel easy and welcoming. The check-in was clear, simple, and completely stress-free, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. There’s a warm, authentic atmosphere here, yet it’s kept at the standard of a hotel. On top of that, the location is perfect. Stykkishólmur is such a beautiful little town, with colorful houses, a charming harbor, and a small hilltop offering a lovely viewpoint over the town. Located 6 km from Stykkishólmur, Helgafell provides a garden and free WiFi. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Everything was really perfect 😌
