The Chems Bleu is a calm and sunny house that offers comfortable accommodation and amazing views of the beach and the port. One of the best hotels during our trip to Morocco. Cozy and stylish design, comfortable rooms, very clean and sunny, you can see ocean from the balconies. We also enjoyed delicious breakfast and would like to thank all members of staff for helping to organise birthday cake for people in our group. Riad is very well located, in the centre of medina, close to the ocean and most of the landmarks.

This beautiful new boutique hotel is stunningly designed, with every detail carefully thought through and perfectly in harmony. The architecture blends seamlessly into the peaceful countryside, and the interior décor is refined and consistent throughout. The Tamegroute pottery in particular added such a unique touch. The palm tree-lined driveway creates a sense of grandeur as you arrive. From the terrace, the views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking. The pool is delightful: the water temperature was just right, and the sun loungers were comfortable. We stayed in the most basic (and therefore cheapest) room, but it was absolutely perfect: beautifully decorated, a comfortable bed, and a fantastic shower. This is the ideal place to escape the busy work life and truly relax. Some other reviewers mentioned the access road, but we honestly don’t understand the complaints. It’s just a typical Moroccan gravel side road, easily manageable if you drive slowly – as you should anyway, since you often come across goat herds on the way! The food is delicious; not an extensive menu, but that makes perfect sense for such a small-scale hotel where guests often dine in Essaouira. This way, every meal is fresh and nothing goes to waste. The tajines were outstanding, cooked with love, and the breakfasts were a real treat too: different types of pancakes, bread, a freshly made omelette. What really sets this hotel apart is the wonderful staff. We have traveled to Morocco before and know the warmth of Moroccan hospitality, but the kindness and genuine care of this team were truly exceptional. During our stay, nothing was ever too much trouble. Each staff member, in their own way, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and they did it from the heart! They also had a wonderful team spirit among themselves, which made us feel like part of the Zayyna family. Saying goodbye was genuinely difficult.

Friendly and help full personel, great breakfast. 5 min walk to sea, Ibi has also surf School so you will get discout using his apartment! We was family 5 person.

Chrystele, Bruno and Abdul were the perfect hosts, and served up an amazing breakfast every morning. We were extremely well looked after, but it also felt like we were with friends. We had dinner every night which was always faultless and got to eat with a different group of people each night who were staying in their motorhomes. A cosy fire was the perfect end to the evening.

Maison 250 is a haven nestled in the beautiful streets of Essaouira. The breakfast area was beautifully furnished to a high standard, the building itself has been designed with such attention to detail - it's absolutely beautiful. As soon as I arrived I felt calm and relaxed, the place has a very easygoing and friendly vibe. The housekeeping staff were very lovely and the kitchen staff cooked delicious breakfast every morning. I'm still dreaming about the Berber omelettes - they must be tried!! I've tried recreating them at home and have quickly accepted my defeat! Chrissie and Craig, you were so welcoming from the moment we met you and this remained unchanged throughout our stay. Your hospitality was the best we've experienced for a long time and we could not recommend Maison 250 enough. Thank you Chrissie, Craig and the wonderful team who make Maison 250 the haven it is!
