Well set in the centre of Playa del Carmen, The Gallery Condos Playa de Carmen provides free WiFi, an outdoor swimming pool and free private parking for guests who drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gallery Condos in Playa del Carmen. The studio we had was quite spacious, with a well equipped small kitchen and a wonderful balcony overlooking the inner pool. The location of the Condos is optimal, walking distance from 5th Ave, where all the night life is located, but far away enough to have a great quiet sleep. The underground parking is excellent and there was no issue finding a free spot. If we are back to Playa we will repeat for sure!

Great location. Even it is right in the center very quiet at night. Like the capsule system in the dorms. Super friendly and helpful stuff. Laundry service worked very well (price per pound). Breakfast was always super good / delicious.

Barbara's Boutique Hostel in Antigua Guatemala provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. This is without a doubt the best hostel we’ve stayed at in Central America, so good we came back twice between trips to the lake and volcano. It is super clean, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is brilliant and it just feels like home. I could go on - Beds are comfy, internet works well, showers are hot and there is a little workout area with weights on the rooftop. No issues at all with storing our bags while we did Acatenango. Wish all hostels were as great as Barbara’s!

Set in a bright, colonial-style building, Casa Tia Micha offers attractive rooms with free Wi-Fi. Located in the centre of Valladolid, it is less than 5 minutes’ walk from San Gervasio Church. The place is absolutely stunning with a beautiful garden hidden right in the very middle of Valladolid. The staff was the nicest I have ever encountered tending to all of our needs (a couple and a 2-year-old kid plus a grandma). Both the dinner and breakfast included with the room were delicious and very nicely presented and it was lovely not to have to look for food after a long day at Chichen. The included parking right next to the hotel was also very convenient. The building is old, so do not expect modern luxury, but you can't beat the location right off the main plaza, plus the A/C works just fine and the garden more than makes up for that.
