Giovanni is an excellent host and really wants the guests to feel comfortable. Great communication both prior to my arrival and during my stay. I arrived very early in the morning and he waited for me and gave me the key to the room directly so I could get some more rest. Both the room and the bed were comfortable. The breakfast was very simple with coffee/tea/juice and bread and jam, but it's enough to start your day in a good way. The location is good too, just a short walk to the center.

The Cabin has everything you need and is extremely comfortable with awesome views from both your patio and bed. It's one of my favorite places, arguably my favorite place I've stayed while traveling the world. Very unique experience. Raul and family are happy to show and share every day life living on the islands. Food is simple but excellent. Raul goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and brings a big thermos daily for tea and coffee. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

It was exactly what I had hoped for. Spending the days reading on the veranda while only listening to the waves of Lake Titicaca. Wonderful sunrises every morning and mystical island ruins to explore. After reading that everyone regretted only spending one or two nights here, I booked three. And well... I also regret not staying longer, haha. I feel like you can easily spend a week here and not get tired of this amazing place. It is that kind of location to just relax and disconnect from everything.

There is so many places that don’t belong to real Uros anymore. Walter and his family are amazing hosts. He build the island with his dad. For us he took care of everything. Special food requests, pick up from the train station and also transfer to the airport. His transfer services have a really fair price. The boat pick up, and a tour on a traditional boat are included. The communication with Walter works really good. Ge also speaks some English. We had really hot water and were able to use the heater inside the room whenever we wanted. Everything is very clean and neat. With Walter and his family you will have one of the greatest experiences at the Uros community!
