The are was very safe too! The owners were nice and it was near a 7/11 (5 to 10 minute walk). Overall, if given a chance, I'd stay there again.

We had a very pleasant stay. The homestay is very nice and clean. The owner was very hospitable and helpful. Due to a typhoon, we couldn't sail the next day. We received a discount for another night and up-to-date information about ferry times. We highly recommend it.

The management is exceptionally accommodating and helpful, the staff is very efficient and knowledgeable, the location is ideal to reach Univ. of Santo Tomas and on a jeepney route to downtown and the malls, and I loved ordering take-out and eating at picnic tables in the courtyard that also services the coffee shop and brew pub that are on the ground level. My room (Rm. 5) had a balcony doors that opened to a magnificent view of Mt. Mayon, the iconic volcano just north of Legazpi.

Set in Santo Domingo, GRG Villa Huan offers accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The air-conditioned accommodation is 16 km from Cagsawa Ruins. We stayed there during the second week of February and we love how it’s centre to everything and the kitchen has the view of Mayon. The restaurant/karaoke at the front serves the most delicious dishes and is very convenient: we can request food anytime (almost) we want. The home is beautiful although I wish they have water heaters in the showers. The best asset is the staff, Roderick who made the stay very pleasant. This is much better in terms of privacy, design and comfort.

The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood, with a few private parking spots. We found it very clean, very comfortable and the AC was already on when we arrived. The bed was comfy and the kitchenette was stocked with the essentials. The location is fantastic: our bedroom window looked directly towards the Puro bay. It was a bliss watching the sun rise on the ocean. We didn't try the pool but it looked lovely.

We initially estimated our arrival to be at 1700-1800H but actual situation caused our arrival to be delayed by 2-3 hrs due to traffic and rain. The hotel had contacted us and ask our actual situation and prepared the room so that we couls rest well as soon as we arrive.
