Nelas is a small quiet town about an hour’s drive to the Serra da Estrela. Perfect place to stay to relax and enjoy nature. Lovely staff.

GuestHouse just had a lovely cozy vibe. Thought I might miss a kitchenette but the little area for coffee, tea, and sometimes goodies was perfect. Had a small fridge I could store a beer and milk for my coffee in the morning. Juan was great. Room was great and nicely sized shower. I loved to watch the street view and wasn’t bothered by the noise. They have foam on shutters if that does bother you. Oh and there is a small place to view the city on 5th floor.
