If I were to choose just ONE sentence to describe how was my experience while spending a night in Primrose Guest House, it would be; "IT WAS PERFECT FOR US". Maria was very informative and was willing to work with us to ensure that my family and I were comfortable and had a good stay. The property was very clean, safe and at a great location with a great view. And the breakfast was great too! You can easily walk to town. We will definitely stay at her place again next time we’re in Tongatapu,

Guest rooms will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent for my needs as the job I was in Tonga to do was only 200 m from the hotel but for some guests it may be a bit far out of town.

It can be hard to find places with hot water & good facilities, but Tonga cottage catered to everything we needed! The host was incredibly generous & kind, plus she went overboard to ensure we had everything we needed for an amazing stay. Would highly recommend.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. At Waterfront Lodge you will find a restaurant serving local and international cuisine. I loved the ambiance of days gone by. HOWEVER, the facilities were modern ( ie; AC, hot water, cleaning service daily, etc. ). The free Continental breakfast was fine. The restaurant was excellent. It was pretty much full every night.

The staff are so welcoming and Selina and the boys are wonderful hosts. Thank you so much for also inviting me to your church that truly was a highlight of my trip and the delicious fruit and avocados each morning for breakfast. My room was so comfortable, I was given two fans and the bathroom was clean and shower 🚿 nice hot water and pressure. I also enjoyed chilling in the lounge area with Masuil, apologies if I spelt his name wrong but we put face masks on and relaxed it was great. As a solo female traveller I'd highly recommend this lodge to anyone who is planning a trip to Tonga.
