He is an amazing story teller. Loved hearing the history. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice view of Pittsburgh. Lovely courtyard area and the parking was easy. Also a great little bar where Michael makes the BEST cocktails. Best chocolate espresso martini I have had. Great continental breakfast included. Order at night, pick up in the morning. Great find, totally recommend.

The cleanliness is top-notch, and the location is perfect. But what truly made my stay stand out was the exceptional staff. From the manager to the receptionists, everyone was a superstar! Their friendly, attentive, and professional service made me feel right at home. I'll definitely be choosing this hotel for all my future stays near State College. Small Suggestion: While nearly flawless, management might consider adding a designated smoking area, possibly in part of the parking lot, to accommodate non-smokers like myself. Minor traffic noise from Kelly Drive was no issue, thanks to effective blackout curtains. Final Thoughts: ROOST Kelly Drive perfectly balances the comforts of home with hotel-like convenience.
