They even spotted a sloth for us and gave us a couple coconuts.

Surrounded by 300 acres of lush rainforest, Chachagua Rainforest Hotel offers charming accommodations and an outdoor swimming pool. The location is amazing, your own hire car is highly recommended. The resort is a unique nature experience with passionate welcoming staff. The hot springs, river, both restaurants, guided walks were all amazing. Only regret is not staying for 4 nights instead of two.

Located in Fortuna, 4.4 miles from La Fortuna Waterfall, Casona Rústica & Bungalow provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. A beautiful piece of paradise. The team were very friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and it was in a quiet spot off the road but close to La Fortuna. We wish we could have stayed longer, it was very relaxing.

New, Hilltop Bungalow 1 W- Spectacular Volcano View offers accommodations in El Fosforo, 3 miles from Sky Adventures Arenal and 10 miles from Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. The studio was really well equipped and comfortable. The welcome center staff were so helpful and gave us lots of ideas for our stay, there is a really handy book of activities in the studio to check out as well. It was very rainy and hazy when we were there so the volcano was covered but we did see part of it on the last day! beautiful either way. the distance from the studio to our activities in La Fortuna was not bad, about half an hour drive

Offering you great views of Arenal Volcano, Montana de Fuego Resort & Spa features beautiful accommodations set among attractive tropical gardens and a regenerative rain forest. The on-site hot springs are beautiful. The included 30 min spa treatments (one per stay pp) were a nice touch. The activity (one per stay pp) was brilliant. The bird life around the property and the trail walk is beautiful. Lunch was good for veggies and view from the restaurant to the volcano is amazing. Pool bar man is a diamond!
