We also enjoyed the facilities outside, especially the beach chair with roof but also the dining set in front and the shower overlooking the forest behind the house. We liked being so close to nature and that it was peaceful with not a lot of people around. Shopping facilities were within driving distance (approx. 15 minutes by car).

Great having the local supermarket on site as that made shopping very easy. Good Edeka with ample choice of foods. Staff were very helpful and polite. Choice of places go eat was also adequate, but we prepared oir meals in the chalet. Always happy to eat 'at home'. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights. Also very close to the EuroVelo route.
