The superior pod had more than enough space for me to lay my backpack on the side, also there was a huge drawer underneath the bed that fit all of my valuables and much more (I had two computers, camera and electronics and that didn't take even half), although I felt pretty comfortable leaving my backpack there as there was very little movement. The room could be cleaned everyday with new towels being provided. There are 2 lights you can control in the superior pod, there is also an AC which you can regulate the intensity. The TV I didn't use but it is huge and you can hear on a headset to not disturb other guests. I saw comments that the covers where too thin but for me they were perfect and I slept with AC on max in the middle of January. The rooms, shower/onsen room and elevator where all with key access, that meant that only women can access the female shower rooms, only people staying in that exact room (separated by type and gender - each floor only has either male or female rooms, then also on each floor there are two rooms, one for economy pods and one for superior pods) can enter which reduces the amount of people that can access your luggage if you don't lock it. Also the elevator only unblocks your floor when you swipe your key, super safe place. There are bathrooms on each floor (no shower) with hair dryer, hair curler, etc and toilets. The showers are on the basement floor along with washing machines, vending machines and the onsen. The onsen is truly amazing, you can choose to take a shower inside the onsen or on a private booth outside the onsen. It has a big hot pool and a small cold bath, also a small sauna. It was almost always empty and it's the best place to unwind at the end of the day after a shower, this was the highlight of the trip for me.
