The hosts were amazing. They were so accommodating even though we arrived late to collect our keys. They were very helpful throughout our entire trip. The place itself was extremely nice. Very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked. There was a garage to park our car. We loved hanging out in the spacious dining and living area. What an absolutely wonderful place. We hope to return again when we can. Although we didn't go up the cablecar in Canillo, both El Tarter and Soldeu were not a far drive at all.

We loved everything about L'Ovella Negra - the concept, the design, the comfort, the location, the live music and the joyous vibe, the food and above all the wonderful and friendly staff. This is a place where you are able to switch off completely, soak in the amazing mountain views, go on hikes, sit by the fire and eat the best dishes. One can see really that the team loves what they do, they like working together and it shows. We travel as a family with small kids, which is not always easy, but the staff made sure we felt completely at home. The staff also gives super helpful tips and ideas for daily activities. If you go, I highly recommend more than one night stay, we did three nights and then you can really feel the place. We hope to be back one day and if not there, in the sister house in South Africa - Kokos Huis :)
