The stove was very good, giving warmth and good ambience. They provided good quality firewood, it was very easy to start the fire, and they cleaned the ashes and provided new firewood every day. This made the apartment very cozy.

Our stay at Hideaway Hotel Montestyria Chalets & Suiten was absolutely wonderful. We especially loved the private breakfast in the Chalet—it was such a lovely experience to enjoy it together as a family, making it even more special for our little one. The location was breathtaking, and everything about our stay was perfect. We also had the chance to relax in the sauna, which was a great addition to our getaway. Exploring the beautiful surroundings with our two-year-old son through scenic hikes made the weekend truly memorable. It was the perfect family retreat, and we can’t wait to return.

We like the sheep, alpacas, and the nice clean stream next to the Chalet. Nice that there is a sauna too. An ideal relaxing place for a family and at the same time Mariazell is just a 20 km drive. Tipp: Take your bicycle, go to the Erlaufsee, and further to the Gemeinde Alpe Mitterbach go up enjoy the view and come down with a mountain cart ride!
