The property is in very good condition. It is located in a very quiet area. It takes a short ride to reach local places of interest like the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse or Ngilgi Cave. The owners are very friendly. The kitchen was provided with everything we needed.

Room and spa bath were excellent. Bed was comfortable and pool and cabanas looked great but didn’t visit this time around. Would head back for sure.

Lovely stay for 3 nights, as we needed a relaxing time away from Perth. The facilities were nice and clean and very user friendly. Kevin & Kelly were very warm and welcoming to us! Great way to end 2023.

It’s a lovely place to spend a few nights. We had a very tastefully decorated room complete with a large bathtub, dual sinks and a shower. Our room was immaculate with high quality bedding and we had the use of the beautifully landscaped outdoor area. There is also a large relaxing common area in the lodge. The owner heartily greeted us at the door and advised us to call if there was anything we needed. Lots of thought has been put into making a stay at Lanterns Retreat - just perfect.

Nice kitchen and homey place for our 8 night stay. Enjoyed the outdoor patio, bbq and full (well equipped) kitchen a lot. Duns is quiet in the evenings so we ate in a lot and it was perfect for the 2 of us. Enjoyed the extras like beach umbrella and chairs and having laundry facilities. We didn’t use them but there are bikes you can use which would be nice for families. Garage parking was great, location is good, there was a nice path along the water to walk or bike on and so much to do in the area during the day like wineries, beaches and more. All in all, felt like home during our stay and we would definitely book again.
