Cabins totally in the forest. Very clean. Excellent meals prepared when possible with local if not their own products. Very welcoming ambiance. The staff (front desk and restaurant) are very nice, very dedicated, and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. To live Costa Rica, you have to stay there!

I wanted accommodation were we could see plenty of wildlife and be surrounded by nature. Arenal Observatory Lodge exceeded out expectations. We saw beautiful birds everywhere along with other wildlife. We considered the drive back to La Fortuna to be relatively easy, so did not mind that it was a little bit out of the way. Excellent breakfast and very accommodating and friendly staff. Highly recommend that horse trek here as well.

We love this little glamping spot!! Away from the city lights and noises. The staff is amazing!! Very friendly and welcoming! We even got to go to the barn and milk a cow! Having a fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances you could possibly need is a bonus

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous and amazing. The grounds are spectacular and the rooms are incredibly beautiful. The staff are super nice and accomodating. The pool area is like a resort. And the breakfast was pretty yummy. We especially enjoyed the live music at breakfast, that was such a treat. I cannot wait to go back

The property was perfect for us as a couple. Close to La Fortuna and far enough away that you were out of the busyness. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make simple meals. King bed was comfortable. The view of Arenal Volcano was amazing when it wasn’t too cloudy. The patio was sheltered from the rain so you could still enjoy coffee outside in the morning. Property felt secure with remote control opening and closing.

We really loved our stay at cecropia ecolodge. The owners were so nice and gave us useful recommendation that only locals know about trips in this area. We really liked the sustainability of this property and that you stay so close to nature there. They really take care of the plants and the animals and also the night walk was fascinating. This property was our favourite stay at our costa rica trip and if we come again we would definitly stay there again.

this view is probably the best you can get, no other words than just breathtaking this is a million-dollar view for a good fair price. which when you are traveling with a family is great we had an amazing time, even when the volcano was in the clouds,the house was comfy to hang around in.

Everything was beautiful here, the room, the horse stables , the farm , the pool , the restaurent. Staying here was a unique experience. Definitely recommend the horse back riding.

Arenal Oasis Ecolodge is an absolute delight! It truly is an oasis. We stayed in a triple bungalow. It was minimal but spacious. Very clean and comfortable. Towel sculptures every morning! The food was fantastic. Best way to start every day is with their traditional breakfast. Don’t forget the Lizano salsa! Our favourite dinner was the sea bass. Everything was plentiful and fresh. The service was outstanding, especially Jerold at reception as well as Valerie and Alan in the restaurant who got to know us day one. Peter, one of the younger brothers/owner was also very friendly and kind. The property is exceptional. Wild and natural but also maintained. The trails are easy and beautiful. The butterfly dome was an unexpected treat. Nature is a bound here! Birdwatching by day, frog watching by night, and monkey watching at dawn and dusk!

    The view is amazing! We stayed in a nice wooden cabin with perfect view at the vulcano. When we were on the balcony, there where a lot of small birds. The cabin itself is big enough for 2 persons with big travelbags. The shower is warm and also big. The food (breakfast and also dinner) from the restaurant is very good and for a good price. The dogs are cute!
