Lovely place with fabulous staff and perfect location! The compound itself is gorgeous, and it is located right downtown in Montezuma, but tucked away enough for you not to be bothered by noise. Felt extremely safe, too, with staff always present by the entrance. 100% recommended!

We loved our stay at Wild Sun’s Jungle Lodge! Clean facilities, incredible wildlife sightings, and stunning jungle views with a refreshing pool. The staff and volunteers were friendly, and Jacqueline was especially welcoming and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious, and we stayed for dinner when we could—amazing food that supports their wildlife rescue work. Highly recommend for a unique, meaningful experience

awesome place. if i was traveling by car i would stay here one week end explore from there, but unfortunately without car is quite limited what you can do in malpais. friendliest welcome ever, constant help while arriving by bus, super clean super comfortable super big room, very quiet (but i guess all of malpais is), open air common areas (kitchen, sitting and dining areas) are warmly decorated and inviting to sit down and get to know other guests (unfortunately i was alone 😁).
