We spent 1 night at this most memorable location during our 9 day road trip in Costa Rica. The accommodation, while quite basic and rustic, truly fits the landscape, surrounded by the most beautiful scenery above the clouds. The owners offer the warmest hospitality, from giving you travel related advice, preparing the meals to maintaining the grounds and the living quarters. We had a lovely stay.

This was our first time in Costa Rica and we could not have been more happy with where we stayed :) The host was absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful and genuinely passionate about his property and the work he had put into it. It was amazing and we easily could have stayed longer! We would definitely return here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more private and welcoming place!

We really enjoyed the setting of our room in the jungle where the rustic outdoor kitchen connect us to the nature . The bedroom and bath look out to the forest. The shower with 3 different heads was great. The place was built 6 years ago by European couple, Cat from France and Phil from Germany. The decoration of the lodge was very relaxing and comfortable. The swimming pool was a great escape for the hot humid weather. We also enjoyed meeting a white nosed coati, a vulture and a group of squirrel monkeys in the backyard. We woke up by all kind of sounds from animal kingdom ..... We appreciate that the hosting couple went out their way to welcome us with good fruits and assisted us.
