The site and the view are wonderful, the cabins were very confortable and cozy. The owner are incredibly friendly and welcoming. An ideal getaway far from the noise from the city. It’s also next to the turtle ranch and lava tunnels.

Our room was even larger and nicer than we expected and included a kitchenette and veranda. Meals were restaurant quality. Our host and his staff were very attentive. They do an excellent job managing the property. Had we not been on a tight travel schedule, we would have stayed there longer.

We were on the Island during elections and being down town was very noisy. So, we especially appreciated being at the Lodge which was quiet and peaceful. It is quite a lovely environment and the $5 cab ride downtown was worth it. The staff was excellent. Very attentive, friendly and kind hearted. Of course, we have found Ecuador to be like this virtually everywhere we go.
