We stayed for 3 nights at Fir Tree Lodge and we could find everything we needed - close to the centre, a cozy and comfortable room, clean and nice toilet, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast included, and easy check-in and out process. A darling, storybook cottage with modern amenities in a gorgeous location. It was very clean and beautifully decorated, so thoughtfully planned down to the last detail to provide a pleasurable and convenient stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch.

We liked every thing about the property , has all what you need for a quick stay, very quiet and we were left to get on with it , which is what we like . When we got to the lodge it was warm with a light on as it was dark when we arrived and a fresh pint of milk in the fridge was a great touch . A booklet of information on every thing you need to know about the lodge and the surrounding area with regards to food and walks , I highly recommend eating at the Holcombe Farm House + Kitchen , great food and good portion size ( 4 min drive ) .
