We had an amazing stay at Ariel Bungalows. Anya and his family are so kind and welcoming. The food was always delicious and the surroundings are so beautiful. We did the walking tour with Anya and it was great - he knows so many people in the local area so we could stop and help harvest the rice, have local coffee etc. Our stay was my highlight of our time in Indonesia. The room is simple but comfortable and clean. The shower is hot. After being in the very hot humid Gili islands we were worried about not having aircon but the temperature in Tetebatu is very nice and cool in the evening. There are also not many mosquitos.

Beautiful property, good food, super comfortable bed, and amazing staff. Zakira, Fendi, and the whole team will take care of you. Highly recommend booking a tour with Fendi- I did the rice fields tour and monkey forest, where we saw some black monkeys! He knows the places the go, so it’s super helpful to have him as a guide, and speaks great English too. Wonderful hosts, I will miss them!

Aranka Tempasan is located in the most beautiful village overlooking rice fields and palm trees. The whole property is so lovely, designed with attention to detail, boasting the most beautiful plants and a garden. At dusk, there are dragonflies everywhere. The bungalow was spacious, with a sleek outdoor bathroom and a patio that directly overlooks the rice fields. Watching the sunrise over the rice fields was surreal! The host, Lina, is so kind and she, Gilan and the entire staff made sure our stay was perfect! They arranged a walking tour through the rice fields and a nearby weaver‘s villages for us with a local guide, which was super interesting! The kitchen staff even cooked special vegetarian indonesian dishes for us that weren’t on the menu. The jackfruit curry was divine! We had such an amazing time here and got to take in some of the natural beauty of Lombok. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back on our next Lombok trip!

A classic wooden art house, and truly a valuable place to stay. Beautiful view of the rice fields and mountains. Staff are friendly and helpful. Laundry is available on-site, and breakfast is included. Air conditioning works well. Rooms are large, an entire floor to yourself. Relaxing chair or a table with chairs. The ambience is magical! The floating breakfast awaiting by the pool was the best surprise and the staff service was outstanding I felt sincerely welcome something that I wish we had in Europe! I was looking for an upscale accommodation near Rinjani mountain and was soo glad to discover Svarga the only 5 star luxury resort near Rinjani mountain , although its still under construction and only several villas are available but that made it even more a sanctuary of peace and relaxation.

My stay at Sembalun Kita Cottage was one of the highlights of my entire trip. I met fellow travellers here who had done Rinjani, and as a solo traveller it is always a good sign if the accommodation is able to facilitate contact between guests. The room itself was gorgeous, waking up every morning with the view from the balcony really put me in the right headpsace for the day ahead. The real highlight at this accomodation was the staff - each staff member was friendly and did everything they could to meet the needs of the customer, day or night. The food that I had at the hostel was really excellent,and this is important considering most of the local places close at about 7pm, so if you want to eat a bit later in the evening, it's important that the hostel provides good quality food, which was the case at Sembalun Kita Cottages. The surrounding area is so incredivle I ended up extending my stay, and I organised a tour guide for Pergasingan Hill for sunrise which was truly epic! Can't rate Sembalun Kita Cottage highly enough, and Sembalun is a must for everyone visiting Lombok
