The cabin was an amazing find, one of the highlights of the trip! Highly recommended!!! Amazing location in a forest (there are not many forests in Iceland!), next to a river. The owners were so helpful and pleasant and their home is just mind-blowing. LOVED the external shower with hot water.

Location is perfect, right by the ring road yet isolated. Hekla and Eyjafjallajokull rise proudly above a golden field with horses, straight from the balcony. Equipped kitchen, comfy bed and cosy feeling. Hulda the owner is very nice, friendly and informative. Recommended for few nights stay.

The property was perfect for what we were looking for. Note that it is remote, there is not much around so plan ahead. But it was perfect for a cozy tiny house vibe. The bed was super comfortable and the hot tub and sauna were a plus. It was exactly what we wanted for star gazing and seeing the northern lights.

This done was PHENOMENAL!! The pics online don’t do it justice! It’s so nicely decorated—from bed, to kitchenette, to sitting area, to deck! The bedding is lush and warm, and even included a heated mattress pad. The kitchenette has everything needed for a short stay. And the location is perfectly away from light so you can see the aurora from bed—of she’s out that night! The house was absolutely amazing with responses too!

Great location for exploring the Southern coast. Beautiful setting and very comfortable. Well maintained and very quiet. We had a large family group and space for everyone. Would highly recommend.
