Beautiful views, very friendly and helpful host. She went above and beyond and helped us to get to the location (her friend ended up driving us there!). Was very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. I wish we stayed longer than one night. The area is full of exceptional hiking opportunities!

The view from the house is wonderful. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped, and was clean on arrival. The communications with the hosts were excellent. It is possible to walk to Varenna using sidewalks, side streets and paths so that you do not have to walk on the main road for 99% of the way to town. Follow the yellow "Patriarchi" signs. The garage was useful, and just the right size for our Fiat Panda.
