It's not especially walkable but Toshi will shuttle you around the valley, including to Happo One ski resort. Just need to take a taxi if you're trying to get back after dinner time. It was spacious, modern, warm, and had every fitting, utensil and item you could need. It was so thoughtfully designed with high quality finishing, it was luxury! The location was amazing, beautiful views of the ranges and surrounded by rice fields (snow covered for us) - it was so picturesque! Close to shops, restaurants and slopes.
