The host pays attention to the small details: the towels are soft and fresh, there are roses in different places as welcoming, arrival drinks with a cake.
I felt in love with the place. The terrace is also so nice. I could observe the squirrels and some special Sri Lanka bird.
The furniture is modern and stylish. It is very near to the center and bus station.
I will stay there next time when I am in Ella. Amazing hospitality.

PolandHonestly this was the best place we have stayed since we came to Sri Lanka. The most beautiful views, wonderful and kind hosts who offered us fresh fruit juice upon arrival and helped with everything we needed. We were offered free tuk tuk lifts to and from Ella center. The breakfast was delicious. Clean and big room, comfortable bed and very nice mosquito net! There was even a kettle and an iron. I would definitely go back to this place. AMAZING

The room has a comfortable terrace with a kitchenette, which could be great for long stays - ask the host about the gas stove though. A lot of nature around. Great breakfast, efficient communication on WhatsApp.

FranceWe absolutely loved it, I dare say it was our best stay in Sri Lanka. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful (especially if you like birds!), the room is comfortable, the balcony is really enjoyable. But most of all: the owner is a wonderful person, who will go above and beyond to help you and make sure you have a great stay. We hiked from there to Ella's Rock, following the train rail at first and it was really amazing. Thank you so much for this stay!!!

The only thing that was a bit misleading was they told us that they provide a tuk tuk for the local area. We assumed it was included… we assumed wrong and were charged a lot in addition. This was certainly not a deal breaker though - we loved it here. 11/10

GermanyYolo Lovely Cottage is such a beautiful place. Just Execptional . Lovely cottage, spacious room and huge balcony. Misty view from balcony is just fabulous. Breakfast is also very delicious and huge. And the host family are just wonderful.
So lovely kind and helpful. Always ready for help and guidance.
