Our favorite stay in Namibia! Comfortable, spacious cabins in an incredibly beautiful landscape. The staff members were great, the star-gazing amazing and they offered a delicious self-bbq menu that we had a blast making one evening. You will not be disappointed booking this place!

I loved everything about Dead Valley Lodge! The location within the national park is a must if you want to see the sunrise and sunset at the dunes. The facilities and rooms are beautifully designed, this is glamping at its very best! The staff is friendly and super accommodating. The food exceeded my expectations with a wide variety at every meal. Kudos to the enthusiastic chef who proudly and happily announces each meal time with a chant and drum beat. If you’re curious to try game meat such as Oryx, Eland, Zebra, and Ostrich, this place serves them all! I did 2 excursions with Julio who is very personable and knowledgeable, he made my experience at the dunes and Deadvlei exceptional!! Dead Valley Lodge absolutely exceeded my expectations and is great value given that it’s the most economical lodge located in the park. It was hands down my favourite accommodation of my entire trip in Southern Africa:)

The food and property were stunning. The accommodation was really nice and the staff were excellent. The dinners were better than the Michelin Star places we’ve eaten at in Europe. The walks were beautiful.

All cabins in Sesriem

Looking for a cabin?

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

+ One of the few lodges inside the Sessriem gates, allowing sunset on Elim Dune, and sunrise on Dune 45. + Good buffet breakfast and diner, both quality and quantity. Lunch ok. + Good views with Orix close to chalets, and Ostriches visible.

The Lodge was very spacious and luxurious! The pool area, offering a stunning view into the desert, was very nice. The dinner buffet was superb, featuring freshly grilled game. At lunch, oryxes walked past the lodge, adding a unique touch to our experience. The friendly staff, luxurious accommodations, and inviting atmosphere made our stay exceptional. We highly recommend this lodge. Its perfect location inside the park allows you to be among the first visitors to Sossusvlei in the morning. The chalets are stylish and very clean.

We loved the vibe at Desert quiver camp. We loved the design of the common area (pool and bar) built in front of the rocks in the middle of the desert. The cabins were spacious, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed relaxing during the heat of the day by the pool and the bar, where you can also enjoy the sunset right in front of the pool. No food available at the lodge but you can order groceries to do your own barbecue or head to Sossuvlei lodge which is just 5 minutes drive away for excellent dinner buffets in their outdoor restaurant.

The perfect place to stay when visiting Sossusvlei. The cabins is stylist and nice, and the outdoor kitchen came in handy as we ordered dinner for the braai. Also the pool is a beautiful spot to relax and cool off after a hot day at Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. Hope to come back!

Stayed here as was only accommodation inside gate. Excellent rooms but awful lack of information. Food appalling. Severe lack of customer service. Waiters rude. PLEASE BEAR IN MIND IT IS STILL 45/50 MINUTE DRIVE TO DUNES AND THATS BREAKING SPEED LIMIT. You pay extra for shuttle bus ( not included). NOT WORTH MONEY. CASES JUST LEFT OUTSIDE WHILST WE WENT TO SUNRISE ETC. NOT SECURELY STORED

Stunning location and view. Many animals nearby the Lodge. Nice pool and wooden deck. Very beautiful and tastefully built and decorated chalets - those are exceptional! Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide on game drive.
