The plain exterior of the accommodation made its impressively plush interior unexpected. We had everything we desired for a very comfortable stay and Ted took the trouble to ring before our actual arrival in Auckland and ensure that we could gain entry to our suite at a late hour without any problems. Some nice snack treats were also very welcome when we tottered in wearily after our flight from Australia. Having stayed in Takapuna previously, we once again appreciated the handy location just a bridge hop from Auckland CBD and the Waiheke Island ferry terminal. The area also has a good variety of dining venues within easy reach.

Offering free WiFi and free onsite parking, Cascades Motor lodge is located in Pakuranga, Auckland. Surrounded by lovely gardens, all accommodations includes cooking facilities.

Comfy bed, the room was nice and quiet, I loved the quiet garden area. Nice big bathroom, and heaps of room to put my bags, suitcase and clothing. Easy parking and convenient to where I needed to go. The staff were lovely! They were friendly and polite and the manager was so easy to talk with. I loved the super comfortable sofa recliner and the smart tv, and the unlimited Wi-Fi was just a lovely bonus and made watching Netflix a breeze.

Ground-floor units have been newly renovated at the end of 2023. All studios are equipped with air-conditioning, heating, 32-inch TVs with SKY channels, and ironing facilities.

Really cool place in a lovely Auckland neighborhood called Mangere. It is very close to Mangere Mountain (a beautiful "dead" volcano, 100% worth visiting). Very nice hosts, willing to help you out with your struggles. The place has everything you need. It's like your own tiny house. Everything made from wood. That creates very calming and cozy vibe. And the shower is epic. There's kitchen so you can cook meals which saves you from sometimes expensive NZ restaurants.

Private cabin Close to airport is located in Auckland, just a 17-minute walk from Auckland Botanic Gardens and 7.6 miles from Howick Historical Village.
