Set above the village of Tekapo, the lodge is in an ideal location for a peaceful escape. Within walking distance to shops , restaurants and The Good Shepherd Church. The views over the lake and the Southern Alps are breathtaking and they can be enjoyed from almost every corner of the lodge. This single storey lodge consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom with lake views from the living and deck area. The open plan lounge features modern décor, a flat screen TV, high speed internet. Double glazed doors open up from the living room to a sheltered outdoor deck where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the view during the day and star gazing at night. The high spec kitchen is equipped with quality appliances, crockery, cutlery and cookware. Washer dryer, dishwasher included. The two bedrooms feature queen sized bed with external bathroom. Ideal for couples or a family with children. All beds are almost new and excellent quality and each bedroom has its own heater. Clean sheets and towels. They have a mini petting zoo and star gazing tour near the lodge as well. Recommending to everyone to stay at least two nights

Amazing location, far away from crowds, beautiful to just enjoy the nature. Room and common spaces were clean and well equipped. Not that we didnt like, but there is a bit of a drive to get to the house, but worth it :)

WOW WOW!! Stunning view, the milk lake is just in front of us. OMG unbelievable breathtaking view. Room is warm, clean, gorgeous kitchen and fireplace. Can host 8 people, even though two couples of us, we still feel worth the money. We love our stay.

Lovely room looking out to Mt John. The unit was very quiet and had especially good curtains. The air conditioner was really good too. Andy, the manager, is very friendly and helpful.

This place is amazing. You have the comfort of home but with views like you’re camping. I was lucky and I could see all the stars and the moon it was beautiful. There is wifi and warm water which is a plus. The cabin is super cute with big windows which allow you to see the night sky even from bed. They have nice lawn chairs outside as well. They have activities you can book but I was only there for a night so I didn’t get to try them. The host was easily accessible with any needs.
