Our stay at Te Awa was the perfect welcome to New Zealand. Our hosts provided a personal experience for us in the Bay of Islands. The setting couldn’t have been more spectacular on the banks of the river, and our room was very comfortable and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool each afternoon, following a day of exploring, and watched the moon rise each evening from the expansive deck. Breakfasts were delicious and prepared us for a day of activity. We appreciated every recommendation provided by Martin and Joelson. They definitely set the bar for the rest of our time in New Zealand. If you have the chance to stay here, we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Allure Lodge was a great location for us to attend our conference. Great views from the deck and two of the bedrooms. Our host was very friendly and checked into ensure that everything was okay. This would be an ideal house for a family over summer.
