Loved this apartment! The location was absolutely perfect. Our host was helpful, polite and super friendly. She showed us around the property, and made sure we had everything that we needed. She really wanted us to enjoy it as much as possible. We loved being able to relax on the porch and have leisurely breakfasts outside in the mornings. Great. Great. Great location. Oh, and they have ample parking.

we stayed at the apartment and it was absolutely great. Like many houses in much of the park this one is close to the main (and only) road but it‘s mostly quiet still and the view is super nice. kitchen and bathroom are very nice. we slept well and it was a great base. Diana was a great and thoughtful host! thank you!

We booked the double room with balcony and had a magnificent river view. The room was bigger than I thought it was going to be, based on the size in the description. Everything very clean. The drive to the property with narrow, winding roads. Good thing they serve a delicious, inexpensive, dinner, because I didn’t want to drive that road too many times. We had good access to Geres National Park hikes, but we felt very secluded. Breakfast was included in the price and had everything you want, including eggs and bacon. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend.

I stayed here on March 17th, 2025. This was the best hotel in Portugal. It had amazing views, a great staff and great amenities. I will stay here frequently.

Everything was perfect. The view is incredible, house is beautiful decorated and cozy, location is amazing to visit waterfalls, hikes, and the national park, host was responsive, wifi worked well, directions about how to find it were very clear, kitchen was equipped, bed was comfortable. I highly recommend for a lovely getaway.

We arrived at Ninho da Avó Selvagem in the rain after a long day of cycling. The lodging was a perfect refuge from the weather - cozy and warm, with a very comfortable bed. The location is stunning and beautiful. A great place to stay!

Great location, close enough to market to get things to cook. Comfortable and host was very prompt and welcoming. Nice yard area to relax in and great for service dog for the trip. Would definitely stay again!

    Chalet Villas Geres is a lovely oasis near the Peneda Geres National Park. It is within any easy walk to the charming town of Geres and near the hiking trails of Peneday Geres. The pool is clean and absolutey beautiful, tucked under a huge Palm tree with the river nearby. Our villa was quiet and private. The hosts, Susana and Tomas were a delight, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

    The chalet was just finished in 2022, is of great build quality, has good equipment and offers a nice pool. The owners run the place as a family business and are friendly and helpful. The National Park is just breathtaking.
