United StatesThis wonderful place was situated in an idyllic mountain setting; home was nicely renovated and decorated; each room had plenty of storage, walk-in costs, and comfortable beds. The washer/ dryer was a pleasant bonus because we could clean all our belongings easily after a full day of UTV ride and hiking. The common areas (kitchen, dining, living room) were also very spacious. Unfortunately, we visited when a snowstorm was coming in. As a result, on Day 2 (all day and that evening), there was no electricity or heat, and the highways were shut down. This amount of snow is not an issue in New England, so we didn't think anything of it... just assumed all would be fixed by the end of the day. We were in Sedona that day, and the police wouldn't let us onto the highway to return to Munds. So we had to book a hotel elsewhere. Eric was very responsive and even looked up places for us to stay, offered to book another hotel, or refund us for the day. The next morning, the highway was re-opened for travel, and we immediately went to retrieve our belongings. Once I notified Eric, he promptly refunded us.
