It was very convenient for our trip. The scenery is gorgeous. There are restaurants, gas stations, a small grocery store w/ fishing supplies (licenses) very close by. The friendly welcome when we arrived, was pleasant! Beautiful wildlife all around!

    I love the Spruce Lodge for the quaintness, cabin mountain feel. I think I happen to have a bad visit there. When I arrived the heater was broken so they eventually had to move me to another room. But I had a terrible night's sleep as the heater in the room was making noises all night. I never really fell asleep. That was the major drawback. The staff was very nice and helpful.

    Quiet location and able to walk dogs in close neighborhood. Close to river for dogs to cool in. Comfortable cabin with full kitchen. Used the outside grill several eves. Staff friendly and always helpful. This is my 2nd trip to this town and cabin location.

    We loved staying at this cabin so much. The cabin was super clean and confortable. the furniture looked new and very nice. We have been travelling a lot in the last 13 years and so far we think this cabin was the cleanest or one of the cleanest places we have stayed at. We love the location and wish we could have stayed more here. Thank you for having us!
