The hotel is very clean, and everyone is friendly. I traveled alone and stayed in the mixed room but I think it was okay.

Amazing views from our balcony. Our room was very spacious and also extremely clean. Large bathroom with plenty of hot water for showers. Very large lovely and comfortable bed. We went for dinner at the restaurant in the Lodge, the food was tasty. Breakfast was included in our stay, large selection to choose from, including scrambled eggs and bacon. Very much appreciated by us both. The Staff were friendly and helpful.

I came in at 2pm and a free upgrade was provided as my original room was not ready. I was very happy to be staying in an appartment. Much more convenient. I really appreciated the gesture.

I missed the directions for the code and got an immediate response and someone met us at the apartment within 3 minutes. Very courteous and responsive to any questions.

Everything was just more than perfect we loved it

Nestled in the heart of a charming village, this apartment offers the best of both worlds: a beautiful exterior true to local tradition and a comfortable, modern interior. The location is ideal, just a 10-minute walk from the historic center of Domodossola, while also positioned at the entrance to Bognanco Valley, providing easy access to hiking trails that lead into the valley and the hills surrounding the city. This makes it an excellent base for both day hikes and city excursions. During renovation, the owners kept the traditional exterior but fully modernized the interior, which consists of a living room with a kitchen area and a separate bathroom. The bathroom had a shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of towels, while the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed to cook, including a capsule coffee machine. The sofa bed was comfortable and sturdy and had more than enough space for me. The thermostat is adjustable, and despite the chilly weather during my stay, the apartment was cozy and warm. In addition to the lovely apartment, it was the warm welcome from my host, Anna, that made my stay truly unforgettable. Not only is she friendly, warm, and easy to talk to, but she also made herself available for any needs I had during my stay, even offering to drive me to places that were difficult to reach on foot. Having lived in the region for over 30 years, Anna is an invaluable source of information about everything from local history and culture to tourist activities, which was especially helpful for a spontaneous traveler like me who didn’t have any fixed plans before arriving. For hikers, Anna provides guidebooks and topographic maps from the CAI (Italian Alpine Club), perfect for choosing a day hike. In short, Anna takes hospitality very seriously and goes above and beyond the standard you would expect in most hotels or vacation rentals; she truly makes you feel at home and is passionate about sharing her love for the region.

The cottage was in a great location in the city and close to the telecabin. The atmosphere was very cozy and lovely. All the amenities and supplies were fully prepared and ready for a few days of relaxation. The owner was very accommodating and available via WhatsApp, responding to my questions and requests immediately.
