The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Incredibly nice, secluded place, you're in the forest, all by yourself. Crystal clean air, the whole whole house is brand new, wood everywhere... you can still smell the wood in the house... Extremely relaxing place!

Beautiful cabins with stunning views. Super nice hosts. Great facilities including private sauna. Pool is shared with cabin next door. This was not an issue for us as no one else was staying next door but this may be a challenge if there are two larger reservations staying there at the same time. The host is super sweet and even prepared some lovely breakfast for us that we could pay for. She greeted us and did a walk through of the place so we could find everything easily. We will be back!
