Waterside Cottages & Villas - Self Catering is located on the banks of the Notwane River, a 14 km drive from Gaborone CBD. Guests can relax in luxurious thatched, self-catering cottages, nestled amongst unspoilt bush and natural surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay in the Nguni cottage which was really spacious, wonderful decorated and well equipped. The braai area was very convenient and the supplied items for the breakfast plenty. It is unbelievable that such a quiet, green and secluded place exists just a few kilometer outside of Gaborone. Highly recommended!

Kgale Hill is 18 km from the accommodation, while Gabarone Station is 20 km from the property. Sir Seretse Khama International Airport is 30 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The chalets were clean and neat as a pin. Establishment seems very new and fresh. We had such a happy stay:) The owner was so accommodating with our requests and we were made to feel at home by all the staff. We absolutely loved the river cruise! Tranquil and so peaceful:) I wish we could've stayed another day.

We did not stay for breakfast as we had an early departure the following morning. The staff did inform us that they could have packed us a lunch, which I thought was a nice gesture.

The ambience of the property was relaxing. The host was prompt in addressing any questions and concerns. The chalets are well distance, thus more private. The host allowed us to check out late.

The guesthouse owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. There's a pool to swim & a hut to chill by the poolside. My room also came with a number of household appliances (microwave, mini fridge etc) so that's a plus for me.

Moritshane Estate had beautiful landscaped surroundings & so much space to stretch out in our chalet that it felt like home within hours. The host was great and responsive & the chalet was clean and beautifully decorated. AC and a kitchen with all the utensils we needed to cook.

A beautiful, peaceful chalet surrounded by nature, yet a short drive to the city of Gaborone. The staff and the host were incredibly kind and friendly. The breakfast supplied was plentiful and full of variety and the daily cleaning service was a surprising bonus. We loved strolling through the property and along the river and enjoyed seeing so many varieties of birds, butterflies, and indigenous plants. What a gem of a place!
