Set within 35 km of Zermatt Railway Station and 35 km of Allalin Glacier, Mattertal Lodge provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Embd. The apartment was very comfortable, we did not miss anything. The host was very kind. We were welcomed with chocolate and a full bag of coffee beans. :) Further on, they borrowed us some of their kids toys for our toddler. We had a good and comfortable stay!

Set 1.5 km from Zermatt Railway Station, 200 metres from Zermatt - Matterhorn and 4.4 km from Schwarzsee, Chalet Bergheimat Zermatt offers accommodation situated in Zermatt. We had a great stay in this apartment. We had the one with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was convenient in the morning as we would not get in each others way. Beds were good. Everything was modern and clean. We used the kitchen for cooking a few times and it had all we needed. The location is a double edged sword: it's a quiet area and from the balcony you see a grass field in front with behind that a mountain view including of the Matterhorn. This was fantastic. Loved looking at it every day. On the other hand, the location was 50 meters height difference (uphill) from the base / river level. Now, downhill was easy and you are at the main cable cars in a couple of minutes so we could start our hikes early in the morning (a big plus). But if you had to go to the nearest supermarket or bakery it would have been 30 minutes back-and-forth including the 50m very steep uphill hike. I recommend to use an electric taxi from the train station so you can get there easy with all your luggage, which is what we did. Could also have used the red bus which can drop you off at a higher point so you can walk downhill to the apartment, but sadly this bus was out of order due to road works several days, including on the day we arrived.

Set in Saas-Fee, 16 km from Allalin Glacier, Chalet Tannegg features rooms with mountain views and free WiFi. Great place to stay! Easy check-in. In the middle of nature and still good Wi-Fi 😃 We will def come back!

Set in Zermatt in the Canton of Valais region with Zermatt - Matterhorn and Matterhorn Museum nearby, Chalet Schuler provides accommodation with access to a hammam. We stayed at the Chale for 7 days. It has a great location, very cozy and comfortable. We counted on the hospitality and friendliness of Mrs. Fux, who guided us and provided all the necessary support for a peaceful stay. It exceeded our expectations. We recommend.

Located in Zermatt´s Winkelmatten Quarter, Panorama Ski Lodge boasts modern self-catering accommodation units with soundproofing, a wellness area, a fitness room and a bar with a sun terrace, offering... Everything. The best view of the Matterhorn. The place was equipped with all modern facilities including even sauna and hammam. The place was super clean. Our host, Déborah, was so polite and helpful.

Chalet Les Rahâs by Mrs Miggins offers self-catering accommodation units in Grimentz, 150 metres from the central ski lift, providing free WiFi and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Best chalet stay in Switzerland so far. Clean. Friendly. Excellent location.

This is a great location as a "basecamp" for exploring the area. Views from the patio and windows are stunning. The studio apartment has everything needed for your stay. Best of all, the owner, Maximilian, is a gem of a gentleman: kind, helpful, and fun.
