A recently renovated villa set in Sarapiquí, Río Sarapiquí Lodge features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The villa is amazing . Beds so comfortable, with lovely linen . The huge balcony overlooking the river and forest is exceptional . Lovely bowl of tropical fruit provided . Rain shower was a joy . It’s just the best place we stayed in CR and would 100% recommend . Boat trip from the ramp on the property well worth it . Even spotted a huge crocodile . The host Marianne is excellent to communicate with, and reacts instantly to requests .

With mountain views, Hortensias Chalets Vara blanca is set in Heredia and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Excellent experience. Very kind and helpful staff. Beautiful place with a lot of attention to the small details. Great place to stay to visit the Poás volcano. Thank you for everything.

Featuring mountain views, Villa Calas in Vara Blanca features accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Location was great, good restaurant. the house had a wood stove which made our stay really nice

With garden views, Selva Verde Lodge is situated in Sarapiquí and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Most things are made in beautiful wood. . Stunning garden area, has even red eyed frogs just outside of the dining area. They have also man6 birds and some other animals in the area. We made the chocolate and pineapple tours which were really interesting. Also the Nighttours was quite interesting.

Situated in Sarapiquí, Yatama Rainforest Ecolodge features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Some units have a seating area and/or a balcony. We had an amazing time at Yatama and met Pedro and Ethan, who where great guides and persons. Thanks again at the whole time for this wonderful experience in the middle of the jungle :)

Offering an indoor pool and a restaurant, Peace Lodge is located a 1-hour drive from San Jose in Vara Blanca. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. We had lovely choices of great fresh fruit juices and variety of western, local, vegan choices. Loved it!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Coco Cabana in the Jungle is set in Sarapiquí. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Gorgeous property right in the jungle - absolutely amazing setting. Very welcoming hosts. The Cabin was really clean and the outdoor kitchen was pretty cool. The beds were very comfortable. There was an information booklet in the cabin which had an amazing range of activities, which you can book with the hosts.

Boasting a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the garden, Bungalows Sanlaz is set in Barrio Jesús and offers accommodation with free WiFi. Location & tranquility of property. We rented the superior villa & it was very roomy, with a great size kitchen which included pans if you chose to cook. The hosts are amazing & friendly. It felt like staying with friends but you had your own space.highly reccomend!

Offering a garden and garden view, Cabaña Mountain View is set in Heredia, 18 km from Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica and 18 km from Parque Diversiones. A beautifull place kn the mountains. Restful. Very kind host: I had forgotten my cellphone when I left and he drove all the way to Heredia to return it to me.

With Catarata Tesoro Escondido reachable in 48 km, Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat features accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Our second eco stay in Costa Rica and so far the best. The location is amazing with the soothing rush of the river nearby which is also awesome for a swim on hot days. It's just far enough from the madding crowds to be peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to local sodas and markets and everything else. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful (Fernanda deserves a special mention) . The breakfast buffet is superb with local delicacies like spiced (seeds and real chillies) chorizo, rice and beans as well as fare for the less adventurous , with fresh juice, coffee etc. The one dinner we had was also great and an absolute bargain. The rooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable. There are common areas with coffee/tea/biscuits always available and a kitchen with fridge if you want to cook your own. To top it all off you can wander off into the surrounding reasonably marked trails to see howler monkeys, toucans, etc.
