They sell tickets for the light show at the exact same price with the Abu Simbel Temple ticket office, and they can help arrange drivers to drive to drive guest from hotel to the temple and literally wait for them there after they finish and come out, with only 500 EGP! They driver is the single best driver we ever had in our 12 days Egypt trip, no joke, he is fluent in English and is very helpful, taking us to amazing local restaurants and explaining everything we saw on the way. I got scammed by the local hospital, where I had a rabies vaccine (another sad story) for 180 USD which is absurd, and on the receipt it says I had intensive care which is completely untrue and the hotel owner really helped me, by telling us what does the Arabic on the receipt says, and suggest us how to seek for support, such as visiting the tourism police, and we end up getting half of the money back. When we left, we even got an offer from the hotel where we had a private mini bus that takes us to Aswan for only 40 USD which is amazing price, even costing less than even a sedan on inDrive
