Amazing place, the location is superb in the centre of the picturesque village Bukit Lawang and next to the river! The staff is absolutely amazing, and the food wow.. Furthermore we did the 3 days/2night jungle trek with Andy and Jerry, which was absolutely incredible. The tour was full of insights on the local flora and fauna, accompanied by well organised base camps and great food. We can do nothing but recommend this place! Looking forward to being back, Lara and Stijn!

They arrange everything so well and take such good care of you, from the airport to your stay at the Garden Inn and especially during the jungle trekking. We did the two days one night trekking with Jerry, Rudy & Abdi. The guides are very funny, knowledgeable about everything and Abdi’s food was amazing! The trekking was tough but we had so much fun and saw many orangutans and other animals. Unforgettable experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia! After the trekking we spent another night at the Garden Inn and did the village tour with Pindu, perfect way to learn more about the local community! He also let us make our own tempeh and gado gado, which was a lot of fun. If you are planning to visit Bukit Lawang, we would recommend to book everything with the Garden Inn team. People working at the lodge were very kind and helpful as well as the monkey trekking which was organised in an awesome way

On The Rocks Bungalows, Restaurant and Jungle Trekking Tours asub Bukit Lawangis Mount Leuseri rahvuspargi serval. We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

We loved our stay here! The bed was super comfortable, everything was nice and clean, there’s good wifi, the food at the restaurant was very good…. we had all we asked for. But what we liked most was the attention of the family. They all helped us in all we needed and made it very easy. It is a small guest house with a few rooms only, which makes it very calm, but anyways they were able to exceed all our expectations. From arranging the orangutan tour, all transportations, hive us food when needed, do laundry, paying with credit card and even give us a scooter. Thank you for your kindness!
