Majapaikan kautta järjestyi kaikki, viidakkoretki ja kuljetukset Medanin lentokentältä Bukit Lawangiin sekä seuraavaan kohteeseemme Lake Toballe. Meillä oli viihtyisä huone, jonka parvekkeelta näkyi joelle. Heillä oli joen rannassa myös ravintola, jossa saimme nauttia todella maukasta ruokaa. Suosittelemme ehdottomasti maistamaan Tempe Rendangia täällä, se oli todella maukasta. Tuoreet hedelmämehut olivat myös loistavia! I did the 3 days jungle trekking with them and it was amazing. Ian, Ianta and Josef were our guides and they were so nice. The food was so good. They cooked big meals in the jungle that were delicious. Would definitly do it again with these guides

Situated in Bukit Lawang, Ecolodge Bukit Lawang features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. The accommodation is set in the forest across the rope bridge close to a transport hub and local shops, cafes where u can buy snack and drinks were u are supporting the local community. The room was clean and well presented the shower had tepid water which is exactly what is required. Mosquito net proved over the bed. The restaurant venue is hi completely constructed with bamboo it is open and airy with a lovely view of the river it also has a great food menu and bar with good service, the Wi-Fi in this area is very good, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms which we enjoyed :-) Breakfast was nice and plenty of coffee. It’s only a 20m walk down to the river for a lovely swim. We did a single day’s trek in to jungle booked through the hotel after arrival. We walking from the lodge, we saw 5 Orangutans and the Alpha Male plus another 3 different type’s of monkeys all this was in the first few hours, the lunch was nice fruit and rice our guide was Aldo who was young but very professional ( highly recommend) he was smartly dressed fully equipped with a first aid kit ( leeches) and also spoke English it was a pleasure to be in his company. We really enjoyed our stay of 3 nights thanks to all the staff We were also there over the weekend no karaoke from across the river
