Majapaikan kautta järjestyi kaikki, viidakkoretki ja kuljetukset Medanin lentokentältä Bukit Lawangiin sekä seuraavaan kohteeseemme Lake Toballe. Meillä oli viihtyisä huone, jonka parvekkeelta näkyi joelle. Heillä oli joen rannassa myös ravintola, jossa saimme nauttia todella maukasta ruokaa. Suosittelemme ehdottomasti maistamaan Tempe Rendangia täällä, se oli todella maukasta. Tuoreet hedelmämehut olivat myös loistavia! Located in Bukit Lawang, Garden Inn provides accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. They arrange everything so well and take such good care of you, from the airport to your stay at the Garden Inn and especially during the jungle trekking. We did the two days one night trekking with Jerry, Rudy & Abdi. The guides are very funny, knowledgeable about everything and Abdi’s food was amazing! The trekking was tough but we had so much fun and saw many orangutans and other animals. Unforgettable experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia! After the trekking we spent another night at the Garden Inn and did the village tour with Pindu, perfect way to learn more about the local community! He also let us make our own tempeh and gado gado, which was a lot of fun. If you are planning to visit Bukit Lawang, we would recommend to book everything with the Garden Inn team. Our guides and lodge staff members were absolutely amazing - made the stay and the jungle trek so much fun and took care of us so well. We asked for a little bit of an off-the-beaten-track trail and that is exactly what we got. The food during the trek was delicious - fresh fruit and amazing chicken and tofu dishes for dinner in the jungle. We saw so many monkeys and made really good friends during our stay. Also, the orangutan card game in the jungle left us all laughing into the night. Our hosts also arranged our transportation to and from bukit lawang so it was super easy for us. Absolutely perfect experience in the jungle, would recommend staying and trekking with this jungle lodge for an authentic experience with the best company.

Situated in Bukit Lawang, Ecolodge Bukit Lawang features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. The accommodation is set in the forest across the rope bridge close to a transport hub and local shops, cafes where u can buy snack and drinks were u are supporting the local community. The room was clean and well presented the shower had tepid water which is exactly what is required. Mosquito net proved over the bed. The restaurant venue is hi completely constructed with bamboo it is open and airy with a lovely view of the river it also has a great food menu and bar with good service, the Wi-Fi in this area is very good, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms which we enjoyed :-) Breakfast was nice and plenty of coffee. It’s only a 20m walk down to the river for a lovely swim. We did a single day’s trek in to jungle booked through the hotel after arrival. We walking from the lodge, we saw 5 Orangutans and the Alpha Male plus another 3 different type’s of monkeys all this was in the first few hours, the lunch was nice fruit and rice our guide was Aldo who was young but very professional ( highly recommend) he was smartly dressed fully equipped with a first aid kit ( leeches) and also spoke English it was a pleasure to be in his company. We really enjoyed our stay of 3 nights thanks to all the staff We were also there over the weekend no karaoke from across the river

Brown Bamboo Guest house & jungle trekking orang-utan has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Bukit Lawang. Some units have a terrace and/or a balcony with garden views. Amazing place to stay. The owner family was very nice, everyone helpful and very kind. Room with a lot of space and very clean. There is a restaurant in the guesthouse also, amazing food! Jungle hike very good too :)
