Furthermore we did the 3 days/2night jungle trek with Andy and Jerry, which was absolutely incredible. The tour was full of insights on the local flora and fauna, accompanied by well organised base camps and great food. We can do nothing but recommend this place! Looking forward to being back, Lara and Stijn!

Everything was really nice. The staff helped us and provided us with all the information about the trekking. Hotel rooms are cute with a beautiful view from the balcony. Joni, Pajar and Arip made our journey to jungle a really wonderful experience.

Amazing location the view was incredible. Monkeys everywhere so cool. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating very kind people. Food included was delicious.

Beautiful location. The management organized exceptional private airport transportation as well as jungle trek. We were able to pay for all charges on credit card at the property.

Ecolodge Bukit Lawang er staðsett í Bukit Lawang og býður upp á garð og sólarverönd. Gististaðurinn er með veitingastað og bókasafn. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði hvarvetna. The accommodation is set in the forest across the rope bridge close to a transport hub and local shops, cafes where u can buy snack and drinks were u are supporting the local community. The room was clean and well presented the shower had tepid water which is exactly what is required. Mosquito net proved over the bed. The restaurant venue is hi completely constructed with bamboo it is open and airy with a lovely view of the river it also has a great food menu and bar with good service, the Wi-Fi in this area is very good, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms which we enjoyed :-) Breakfast was nice and plenty of coffee. It’s only a 20m walk down to the river for a lovely swim. We did a single day’s trek in to jungle booked through the hotel after arrival. We walking from the lodge, we saw 5 Orangutans and the Alpha Male plus another 3 different type’s of monkeys all this was in the first few hours, the lunch was nice fruit and rice our guide was Aldo who was young but very professional ( highly recommend) he was smartly dressed fully equipped with a first aid kit ( leeches) and also spoke English it was a pleasure to be in his company. We really enjoyed our stay of 3 nights thanks to all the staff We were also there over the weekend no karaoke from across the river

We loved our stay here! The bed was super comfortable, everything was nice and clean, there’s good wifi, the food at the restaurant was very good…. we had all we asked for. But what we liked most was the attention of the family. They all helped us in all we needed and made it very easy. It is a small guest house with a few rooms only, which makes it very calm, but anyways they were able to exceed all our expectations. From arranging the orangutan tour, all transportations, hive us food when needed, do laundry, paying with credit card and even give us a scooter. Thank you for your kindness!
