They really did an amazing job to make you feel so welcome. The hosts are so lovely people and very familiar, they will help you with everything you need. The breakfast is excellent and I tried for the first time pisang goreng (fried banana) the best in my opinion. I could also use a motorbike to go to jatiluwih rice fields it is only 20 min driving

Each time we stayed for over a week and found that to be an excellent time to really settle into ourselves and our personal spiritual practices. Beautiful walks, great staff, very accommodating. Being lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the jungle is absolutely exquisite. The energy here is extremely healing and rejuvenating. Highly recommended! Thank you Oemah Tepi Sawah! This is one of my top 5 guest houses anywhere in the world (I have been to over 140 countries) when I arrived my breath was taken away the setting is breathtaking. The huts are incredible comfortable, clean and wait until you see the bathroom WOW!!!! But what really sets this place apart is the kind family. Grandma what an incredible women she made my stay so much fun I really really can say it wouldn’t have been the same without her. Always smiling always caring and always there when you need something. Grandma took me on an incredible walk in the village to meet all her family and friends and they were so friendly as are all of the village. She is also taking me to a ceremony tomorrow on the rice field Secondly made always smiling and always helpful and so nice to chat to. Also Kiki who liaises on bookings he is so responsive and forever helpful (grandmas son) what a talent to turn the farm into a wonderful homestay. Finally the driver madie great to driver around with and we went on some nice adventures. Dont hesitate to book if you want to see the real Bali and have a peaceful and restful time.

Our cabin had a lovely view of the jungle and the pool — perfect for unwinding and enjoying the scenery. One of the highlights of our stay was the Balinese cooking class. We got to learn how to prepare traditional dishes with the help of a friendly and passionate local team. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, with a touch of Balinese culture, Bali Secret Jungle is the perfect place!

Everything here is perfect, thanks to Putu, Made and the other staff. It is a beautiful oasis of calm in an over-developped and commercialised Bali. The gardens are stunning, full of healing plants/herbs/fruit - all organic. The nearby walks thru the rice terraces are just gorgeous. The food, the people, the location - all make this the perfect place to stay if you want to experience the real Bali. I will be returning every year from now on! Thank you to everyone here.

Even without speaking the same language, deep connection was possible—through a gesture, a glance, a shared smile. The atmosphere is incredibly calming, and the food gave me real energy, not just physically but emotionally. To be honest, I find it hard to put this experience fully into words. Sanda feels different from anywhere else in Bali. This is not a place for passive tourism—it gently asks something of you too. If you're looking for a space to be still, to read, to think, to meditate, or to unplug from social media and constant feedback, this is a rare and beautiful choice. I spent three days here reading and reflecting, allowing my life to pause. My conversations with Harry gave me a deeper understanding of plants—their fruits, their rhythms, their stories. December is durian season, and I know I will return. Time spent here feels like a gift. I hope you give yourself one too.
