Lovely spacious house right next to Connemara National Park and lovely beaches close by. Shop and restaurant a walking distance away. I stayed with my two dogs and the space was ideal for them. I am always delighted to find dog friendly accommodation. The house was spotlessly clean, beds were very comfortable and the house was lovely and warm on arrival. The host replied promptly to any question I had and was extremely accommodating and helpful when I had to amend my booking at the last minute. The only thing that might need checking is some of the blinds. One or two appear to be stuck open. This didn’t affect me as I only used one bedroom where they did work. In all, I’d highly recommend the house to solo travellers or groups with or without dogs in tow.

Very lovely Lodge. The Beach (not to swim) is just a short walk down the road. Very remote area with an excellent restaurant located within 3 minutes by car. Very comfortable beds, terrace, backyard. The breakfast was super delicious.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Oughterard, Camillaun Lodge with Lough Corrib Boat Hire is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

Hillside Lodge B & B was just so comfortable. Ruth welcomed us and showed us to our immaculately clean and well furnished room. It was a blustery day, yet we were so cosy. Breakfast was outstanding! Such a wonderful stay with a hostess who provided some great tips for our next stop. Lovely stay!

On our trip to Ireland we stayed in five airbnbs. Clifden Bay Lodge was, by far, the best. Location, view, comfort were very good. Small things, like good size, clearly labeled containers of shampoo and soap that did not require flashlight to read helped. Breakfast was memorable with home baked pastries. The owner made the place special.
